New to Mafia Gun? What makes the biggest difference in your first matches is a handful of simple habits. Here are 8 tips the Boss won't tell you.

1. Don't let your Cash overflow

Cash fills up to 10 and stops there. A full bar means wasted seconds. If you have a card in hand and your Cash is about to cap, even dropping a cheap unit at the back beats waiting.

2. Let your opponent move first

Don't rush at the start of the match. See what your rival plays and answer it. Units that survive on defense become the first step of your counterattack.

3. Stop expensive cards with cheap ones

You can tie up heavy hitters like the Butcher or the Armored Gunman with swarms that cost 2-3 Cash. Stiletto Boys and the Goon Squad are perfect for it. A Cash advantage wins matches.

4. Your buildings shoot too

The gunners on your buildings open fire on every enemy in range. Drop your defenders near a building so the building and the unit hit together.

5. Don't waste your spells

Bullet Spray and the Frag Grenade get the most value against packed groups. Instead of spending a spell on a single unit, wait for a few enemies to bunch up.

6. Don't forget air units

Buzz Drones, the Heavy Drone and the Zeppelin fly; melee units can't reach them. Keep at least two cards in your deck that can hit the air, like the Pistol Sisters, the Sharpshooter or the Searchlight Building.

7. Cash fills twice as fast at the end

In the last 60 seconds Cash fills twice as fast. Even if you're behind, that's the best moment to turn things around with a big push.

8. Drop by every day

The Daily Gift, the Roulette and quests reset every day. Even a quick visit helps you upgrade your cards faster.
